Rawa Ladoos

INGREDIENTS

Rawa 2 cups
Cashew 1cup
Coconut powder 2cups
Ghee to fry
Boiled milk
Sugar 2cups

PROCEDURE

Fry the cashew and coconut. Put in the mixer and grind coarsely. Fry the rawa in the ghee. Now add the sugar and fry for i min.Add the cashew mixture and fry for1 min and mix it well. Add milk little by little and make ladoos.

Banana Cake

Ingredients :

4 Bananas (Ripe)
1 Cup of Oil
1 Cup of Sugar
3 Eggs
2 Cups of Flour
1 Tspn of Baking Powder
1 Tspn of Baking Soda
1 Tspn of Vanilla Essence
1/2 Cup of Milk
Raisins and Peanuts can be added

Procedure :

In a wide bowl beat the oil, sugar and eggs. Mash the bananas well with a fork separately and then add it to this mixture.
Once the mixture is beaten up well, add the flour little by little which has been previously mixed with Baking powder and Baking soda.
Now add the Vanilla Essence and the Milk very slowly and keep mixing it lightly.


Grease a baking tray with little oil or butter and add the cake mixture into it and bake it in a pre heated oven at 350 degree C for 45 minutes.
To check whether the cake is ready put a toothpick or a  knife and if it comes out clean your cake is ready.

Prawn Biryani

Ingredients
(For 1 Kg of Rice)

FOR PRAWN MASALA:
5 Green Chillies
1 Onion
3 Tomatoes
Small piece of Ginger
6 pods of Garlic
1/4 tspn of Jeera
6 Pepper Corns
Small piece of Cinnamon
3 Cloves
A pinch of Turmeric
A bunch of Corriander Leaves

FOR THE RICE
1 kg Rice
1 kg Prawns
(Marinate the prawns in Turmeric, Salt and little Vinegar)
5 tbspns of Oil and Ghee
Cinnamon, Cloves, Cardamon
Salt to taste




Procedure:

Grind all the above ingredients into a fine paste.
In a vessel take little oil and put the ground masala into it and fry it well till the raw smell disappears.
Once it is fried you can add the tomatoes and again fry it well.
Now add the marinated prawns. Let the gravy and the prawns mix well. Keep it aside.

In another vessel add little oil and ghee. Once it becomes hot put the onions, then add the Garam masala(Cinnamon, Cloves and Cardamon). Let it fry well then add the rice which has been washed previously.

In another vessel the water has to be boiled and put for the rice. Add Salt or 2 Maggi Cubs. Close the vessel and keep it on a slow fire till the water dries up. Once the water has dried up put the layers of rice and prawn masala.Top it up with fried onions. Keep it on the tawa on slow fire till the steam comes out.

Now your biryani is ready to eat.

Mango Curry (Mangalorean Style)

Ingredients:

15 mangoes( small variety)
baffat powder or chilly powder
jaggery
salt
All this is according to your taste.





Procedure:

Wash the mangoes and peel them. Keep the skins and soak them in water.
In a vessel put the mangoes along with the chilly powder, jaggery salt. Squeeze out the water from the soaked mangoe skins and add it to the vessel. Let it boil for half an hour .After it is has boiled and the water has reduced check for salt and sweetness. Then put a bagar with kadipatha,garlic and mustard.Your yummy mangoes are ready .You can bottle it and keep it in the fridge and use it whenever needed. Serve it hot or cold.
